Look at the pictures of my cat!!! Look at how cute he is!! What a handsome sir!!! I take so many more pictures of him and us than I actually post on here.  Be thankful I have restraint. lol! Anyway, on to how our week has been.

We have had some quiet evenings watching movies and reading.  I am working my way through the Circle of Magic series by Tamora Pierce and Brandon is listening to the Harry Potter audio books.  He is so shocked at how different and more detailed the books are than the movies, and I an avid book nerd am like….yeah!!  Of course it is like that!!  We went on walks around Annandale and saw more of the aqueducts and then sat and watched cricket in the park.  It was a great weekend to be outside.  The skinks were out enjoying the sun too.  We tried Saturday night to watch the Mardi Gras Parade online, but couldn’t find a good stream, so we just watched a movie instead.  We did see the fireworks though, but could not get a good picture.  Our three free months of Stan run out at the end of the month, so we have to watch as much as possible.

I talked to my cousin Lindsey this weekend and she is planning a trip to come visit us this year.  Yay our first US visitors!!  So exciting!! I really hope all of you back in the US will take advantage of having someone on this side of the world to come visit!!  It is a big trip, but so worth it!! Feel free to visit the Planning a Trip to Australia page for more information.  We hope to add to it along the way.  We have our own Australian adventure Thursday to head up to Cairns for my Birthday trip.  I hope we have good weather for all our outdoor activities we have planned.  So excited to try scuba diving!!!  Next week’s post will be late due to us getting back on Monday, just fyi.

Today, Sunday, was cloudy and breezy, but still warm.  We went to church in Balmain, then took the Lightrail to a Portuguese festival for lunch.  They had a bunch of food, drink, and travel stands, along with music stages.  It was really fun.  We came home with full bellies and a nap was in order.  Now we are just soaking up the rest of our precious weekend.  Enjoy the rest of your Sundays peeps and talk to you next week!!
