Welcome to Brandon and Amy’s digital Christmas Card 2022!! Wishing you a merry festive season full of good cheer and blessings!

2022 has been very good to us! We have traveled, exercised and learned a lot this year! Brandon graduated in August with a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and I did a course in Animal Acupuncture in October.

Summer in January and February was rainier than normal, but we still found time for picnics, fun with friends and I did an amazing yoga retreat. We attended our first Australian wedding and spent my Birthday in the Snowy Mountains in the far south of New South Wales. We hiked Australia’s tallest peak, Mount Kosciuszko and then Brandon caught COVID so we had to isolate for a week. We explored more of New South Wales to find an area to eventually buy land. We toured the Blue Mountains, Barrington Tops, Southern Highlands and Mudgee this year to find the perfect place. Things are in the works so stay tuned for more news on that. 🙂 Easter break found us in South Australia, exploring the capital, Adelaide.

May found us having cool Autumn nights during Vivid, where Sydney lights up to get people out and about. June and July we traveled to Hawaii to celebrate our 10 year Wedding Anniversary. Friends from Sydney and WI came to celebrate and travel around the Big Island and Oahu. We then went to WI and CO to visit family and celebrate my cousin’s wedding. We had amazing weather and it was great to see everyone after three years of separation due to COVID.

We came back to Australia to cooler weather and celebrating Christmas in July and us getting our Australian Citizenship. We are now Dual Citizens with both passports which is super exciting.

This Spring, we have been having amazing weekend trips wine touring, celebrating Birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving and enjoying time with friends. The cooler, rainier weather hasn’t deterred us from enjoying beautiful Australia!

We have been touring Sydney and beyond for parkrun nearly every Saturday morning to earn new challenges and delight in some new brunch spots. 🙂 Brandon will be doing his 100^th parkrun on his Birthday weekend and we have completed our Compass Challenge in West Beach, Adelaide (North Sydney, South Boulder Creek, East Richmond) . Pilates, yoga and more stretching have been keeping our bodies from aches and pains with the running we have been doing.

Fiyero continues to do well! He is 15ish years old and his Kidney Disease is holding. He is super cute and we love him so!

December is always an exciting month with Brandon’s Birthday and the build up to the holidays. This year, we are spending Christmas and New Years traveling Tasmania. We are spending time in Hobart, then taking a camper van around the state to hike and see the sights. It is the first time we are traveling during the holidays so it will be new and exciting. I am hoping to see a platypus in the wild and we have five parkruns planned!
